This very unique guitar is made from rare Koa from the big island of Hawaii. I like Koa because of its tonal qualities and the beautiful variations in color. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. Both the neck and body received about 16 coats of teak oil and then two coats of clear guitar lacquer. The setup has the strings as low as possible. The theme for the hardware was gold which compliments the warm glow of the Koa. Sounds great, plays great, looks great.
